- Set aggressive goals for the sourced quality KPIs with management of Global Sourcing and Category Management
- Develop and maintain a set of initiatives to drive the quality management assurance program including product standard, Material excellence, Precision craftmanship, Structural durability, Ergonomics and comfort, testing, FEMA
- Build a best-in-class quality team’s competences and performance and develop a strong team in field to operate quality assurance activities with factories.
- Drive regular training to deliver quality consistency
- Lead and elevate the company’s quality activities from quality control to quality management. Promote the awareness of quality assurance.
- Ensure quality audits/inspections are done consistently across different categories with the right sampling rules (AQL/fixed %), checklist, report documentation and files achieving.
- Define and clarify quality expectations and standards in advance, collaborate with factory to make sure proper quality check process and resources are put in the right point, trainings to factory quality staffs, audit to make sure factory quality system being performing. Be the leader to manager overall vendor quality performance.
- Lead the supplier pre-qualification audit, existing factory quality system assessment and CAP. Tailor made continuous improvement plan for each factory and allocate quality resources to the most needed area.
- Link with Corp QA management to gain quality performance ratings, share with supply chain stake holders and support with CAP development and validation.
- Identify key potential areas that have room for continuous improvement by simplifying the QA process, improving efficiencies and reducing cost.
- Maintain and finetune the finishing management project to ensure an effective finishing development and review process that produce accurate and consistent finishing across categories (wood/fabric/leather)
- Providing guidance/directions to QC for quality issue investigation, resolution development and validation
- Manage a database for product compliance, develop a general guide of product compliance by category for new supplier development. Lead the product testing program, partner with business leader to ensure testing tracker is properly updated.
- Be the driving force in standardizing products throughout product lifecycle, develop a comprehensive checklist and lead the FEMA efforts to ensure compliance/safety/functionality/durability being properly validated for both components and finished products from design, development, NPI and initial production.
- Lead to search the Golden industrial practices and finetune the Flexsteel standards to align with our leadership in the industry.

Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Business Management, Engineering, Furniture Design and Manufacturing ect.
- Language skills: fluent in English & Chinese, both oral and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft office.
- 15+ years in quality control and quality management in the furniture industries in a manufacturing and buying/trading environment, with at least 5 years on a manager role.
- Strong knowledge in motion upholstery is a must
- Team player. Good communication skill.
